Lest We Forget

11th November or Remembrance Day is significant across the world in many different communities. It is particularly significant at Huntingtower as we not only consider the sacrifice that was made by so many as well as understand that 1914, which was the year World War 1 started was also the year that our school opened. To mark this special event, our Year 6 pupils researched, prepared and presented a thought-provoking and moving assembly. They may us so proud. Please see the video for more information.

As the nights lengthen and the days shorten, we are moving towards a busy and exciting time of the year. I know that there are many activities and events planned over the coming weeks. Our Winter Fayre is only 3 weeks away! If you are able to help in anyway including at the Fayre itself, please pop into the academy office to register your interest.
