September Success!

As we head towards the end of September, I am pleased to report that everyone has settled into their new classrooms and settings and the academy is a hive of learning! We have definitely seen more of the autumnal weather that is expected at this time of year and it makes aware of up and coming festivals. On Monday, we will have a special harvest assembly presented by myself and with some help from Year 4. I would like to thank you for all of the contributions to the foodbank that we have already received. We are still happy to collect any further donations on Monday and will be taking them to the Grantham base after the academy day ends.

Grantham is also preparing itself to celebrate one of the most famous scientists in the world, Isaac Newton. The Gravity Fields festival begins on 26th September and runs until 30th September. Again, our academy has been asked to be part of the parade on the Saturday evening. I hope that if you can, you will join us to celebrate.
