Solar Eclipse

Explore how to view the solar eclipse and learn from it

Eclipse on Friday - We are very excited about the eclipse taking place on Friday morning. There is one problem in that it takes place between about 8.30-10.30am. We have purchased a few viewing glasses for the children and we will endeavour to enable the children to share in the excitement and learn form it. However, we did come across this website where you could make your own viewers out of good old cereal boxes. Give it a go and then bring it in to enable your child to get a good view.

PLEASE REMIND YOUR CHILD THAT LOOKING DIRECTLY AT THE SUN WITHOUT THE CORRECT VIEWERS COULD DAMAGE THEIR EYE SIGHT.
