Choir sing beautifully

The choir went to the Morrisons Centre on Sunday and sang beautifully.

Choir at MorrisonsThe Huntingtower Choir are out and about again this festive season. The children have been working hard with rehearsals and have been giving up their lunch time breaks for extra sessions which is really appreciated. Thank you. They are working well as a team and this shows in their performances.

We had a good reception when we sang in the Morrisons centre last weekend at the Grantham Day and well done to all the children, because it was freezing.

On Sunday the 5th of December we are singing at Head Start Nursery. Some of the children attended this Nursery so they are quite excited. This is at their Christmas Fayre so if you are passing please call in.

On the 9th of December, weather permitting; we will be making our annual trip to Belvoir Castle. This is a lovely Christmassy event and it feels very special being able to sing in the castle. We are grateful to have been invited again.

Unfortunately, due to the snow and ice, we were unable to attend Walton girls High school on Friday evening. This was to be a coral speaking and singing event. Very exciting! The children have been working extra hard for this so we are hoping it is going to be taking part at a later date. A great big thank you goes to Mrs Kightley for helping us with this. We couldn't have done it without her.

Finally, we are going to be taking part in the school's carol service. This is always one of our favourite events as we are sharing our talents together as a school and this is very important to us all.

I must finally say a great big thank you to all the children for their dedication and also to their parents/carers for allowing them to take part and transporting them to events out of school time.

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful 2011.
