We are the Panda Class and we are in Year Two at Huntingtower Academy!
Mrs Kightley, Mrs Evans and Mrs Marsden are there to support us in our learning each week.
Our project for this term is 'Out of this world!', learning all about the solar system and the moon landings. We are developing the children's independence during the afternoons and giving them tasks to complete on their own during our continuous provision afternoons. They will be creating their own moon buggies, moon pictures, space games etc.. to develop their understanding of the project. We are also going to visit the 'Space Centre' in Leicester on March 16th. We are so excited!
On Mondays and Tuesdays, Mrs Kightley will be teaching the Panda class. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, Mrs Evans will be the Panda teacher. On Wednesdays and Fridays-don't forget your P.E. kits, please make sure any pierced ears are covered or earrings are removed.
Homework will be given out on a Wednesday and expected in by the following Tuesday. If you have any queries regarding the homework, please do not hesitate to speak to any adult working in Pandas classroom. Reading regularly at home is very important. We appreciate all of your support with this and we love to see that you have heard your child read through your comments in the blue reading record.
There will be lots of fun and great learning opportunities this term. Don't forget to share your learning at home. We also love to celebrate your achievements in any out of school activities too.
Look out for details of future events in the weekly Tower Times.
