School choir sings with the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment
Our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 choir sing with 300 other children to make a mass choir with the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment and celebrate the Jubilee.
The choir, ably led by Miss Eldred and Mrs Kightley, had a fantastic afternoon rehearsing with the Royal Air Force Band. They spent Friday afternoon at the Meres Leisure Centre perfecting their performance. It showed when hundreds of people went to see them in the evening.
The children and staff had been rehearsing for weeks songs from Grease and Joseph. The conductor from the Band was really helpful in supporting the children and helping them get used to singing with such a powerful band. Listen to Rule Britannia and see what you think.
