MUSIC MAKING AFTERNOON AT FINKIN STREET CHURCH

On Wednesday afternoon, KS1 recorders and choir walked to Finkin Street Church to take part in the music making afternoon of Grantham Music Festival.  This was a chance for local schools to showcase their talents in a non-competitive environment and there was a great turn out.  The recorder players coped very well with their first performance in front

of an audience and were beautifully led by Mrs Jacklin.  KS1 choir children enjoyed the more intimate venue and performed their songs better than they ever had before (helped by Mrs Kightley finally getting all the words right!).  A big thank you to all the parent helpers who helped escort the children and enjoyed the many performances.  A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
