The Lion King

The Year 6 went on an outstanding trip on Wednesday to the Lyceum Theatre in London to see The Lion King.  Click here to read Georgia & Taleecha's story of the day. They had an "Amazking time"!!

The Year 6 went on an outstanding trip on Wednesday to the Lyceum Theatre in London.  As we were early we took a trip to the bridge we could see the Houses of Parliament, the Gherkin, Big Ben and obviously the River Thames.  We were in the theatre, there were thousands of excited people.  It began!  It all went silent!  Then the awesome show began!  The exotic safari animals leapt on the stage; all you could hear was cheering clapping and whistling.  It all came to life!  During the interval everyone was saying how AMAZING it was, me and Mr Anderson thought it was “amazking”! It was fantastic how the stage moved and changed.  It would definitely “claw” people into coming next year.  Thank you to Mrs Bensley, Mrs Dewhurst and the school for paying for us all to go.                By Georgia T and Taleecha H

A huge thank you to our PTFA who paid for the coach.

Oh, have you heard Mr Anderson left all the tickets on the coach with his lunch!!!

Quickly retrieved though, so all was well.
