Welcome to Term 4!

Welcome back to Term 4 and what a start! The children have had a myriad of experiences this week from family workshops to a visitor from the past! It was so lovely to have so many family members work with the Kangaroos and Koalas to make their family shields and I have to say they are really impressive.

Y3 had the most fantastic day with Master Eliot, a sailor with Sir Francis Drake. They gained new understanding of the Elizabethan period and you can read what he thought of his visit to the academy below. We are particularly proud of our community links and on Thursday, our choir made us particularly proud when they opened the Lincolnshire Headteachers’ conference with a range of songs. I have received several messages from Headteachers that I know congratulating the academy for having such wonderful children who perform incredibly well. Thank you to Mrs Kightley, Mrs Goddard-Tate and the choir for their hard work preparing for this event.
