Little Princess Charity

Eleven-year-old Poppy Willesden is getting her hair cut for the Little Princess Charity, a charity set up to make wigs for children who have suffered hair loss through cancer treatment or other illness.  It can cost up to £2,000 to make a small child’s wig.

Poppy, who hasn’t missed a day at school in seven years, was inspired by a little girl called Claudia Burkhill (Claudia’s cause off fb).

She is due for the chop on Sunday 13th July.

Mum Alison said: “We have chosen this date as she has her dance show for the two days before and a very good friend of ours, Anna Knight, who usually cuts our hair is cutting it for Poppy.  It will either take place at our house or at Anna’s.”

You can make a donation on Mrs Willesden’s page: http://www.justgiving.com/Alison-Willesden. It’s easy, fast and totally secure.
