Year 3/4 Cross Country Event

On Thursday, 1st May, 6 children from Huntingtower participated in our very first cross country event.

Children attended The Priory School to run just under a mile against many other children.  128 boys ran and 88 girls ran in total.

Mitchell, Rowan, Adam, Lucas and Bobby ran first and I cannot explain how excited they all were too, even after they passed the finish line they were smiling and telling parents/grandparents all about it.  It was then Ella’s turn to race.  Again I cannot express how excited and happy Ella was to represent our school, and I am so proud of the boys who came across to support Ella in her race. These children showed great team-work, they supported each other and never stopped smiling, definitely a credit to our school and all finishing in great positions.

Well done to all children and “Thank You” to all members of the children’s family, Mrs Dilloway and Mr Turner for their support.
