Huntingtower football B Team played against what should have been Long Bennington B team in a friendly match on Tuesday 28th January.

The group of players, who were more than excited to be playing in their first Huntingtower match, knew they had to work hard.  They spent most of the game defending our goal and they battled for the full 30 minutes which was a credit to their discipline for not giving up.

Our Huntingtower team, gave all their efforts in this game, however, sadly losing the match to a group of players who will be playing against my A team next week.  All the players who took part should take pride for representing the school especially for not giving up and below are some positives from the game:-

The super saves from Frazer in the 1st half, Ebony in the 2nd half, the blocks and tackles from Chloe, Maksim and Logan made, the defending and runs that Jack and Harley made down the wings and the chasing and closing down Jacob did throughout the game were exceptional.

Well done and great efforts to all of you.
