LINCOLNSHIRE CARBON AMBASSADORS

Emily, Matthew and Jacob in Year 5 are Huntingtower's Lincolnshire Carbon Ambassadors and are aiming to reduce energy usage in school by 10% this term! Are you up for the challenge? Following training at St Hugh's, they have learnt about the Greenhouse Effect, carbon auditing and how we can change our behaviour to reduce the energy we use.

Emily, Matthew and Jacob in Year 5 have been selected to be our Lincolnshire Carbon Ambassadors.  They have a very special job, trying to reduce the amount of energy we use in school.  Last Wednesday, the LCAs went with Miss Bryan to a very important training day at St. Hugh’s Academy.  Here they learnt all about the Greenhouse Effect and why it is important to reduce the amount of energy we use.  They were also taught how to audit the school’s energy use and how we can change our behaviour to reduce this.  You will be seeing the LCAs around the school over the coming weeks, working really hard to achieve our goal of a 10% reduction in one term!  There is a lot of work to do and they will be asking for your help.  Are you up for the challenge?  Watch this space!
