The day was Thursday 25th April 2013, it was a lovely sunny day and for the first time we took a team of girls to play football against Isaac Newton school. The girls were excited but also nervous at the same time, with 2 of the girls only just starting to play football.

The first half we had plenty of possession and plenty of shots and played some really good football only for the score to be 0-0 at half time. The girls started to enjoy themselves and now with the second half underway the girls started to play even better football, as well as defending well and it was only a matter of time before the girls scored their first goal. The first goal was scored by Lois Ward, the second was scored by Katie Bevan and the third scored by Leah Griffiths and the girls finished off their first game with a 3-0 win.

A big THANK YOU must go out to all the parents and teachers who showed their support to the children during the game.
