On a sunny and bright afternoon, Huntingtower year 5/6 football club took part in a football tournament at Barrowby.

With some new faces in the squad being given the experience and the chance to impress, the players were excited and a little apprehensive.
Once the games got going we won our first match 1 - 0, we then drew 1 - 1 and then lost 1 - 0 finishing with a 0 - 0 draw, giving Huntingtower 5 points, finishing third in the group.
The team only conceded 2 goals and from two tournaments, only lost 1 game so an excellent achievement by all the children who have taken part over the two tournaments.  Let’s all look forward to more success in the near future.
The following players took part Joe Warren, Joshua Ward, Piotrek Kudla, Harry Edwards, Jakub Novak, Josh Frankish, Billy Andrews-Harrison, Leah Griffiths, Max Jappy, Connor Taylor.  I would like to say a big "Thank You" for the parents support in collecting the children and also those of you who stayed and supported the children, throughout the tournament.
