Our teacher is Mrs Lord and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Maxwell. They share our learning adventures everyday and help us to develop our understanding of the world around us.
Lemurs are always hardworking and busy at school! We are great learners and always aim to do our best to be LEMUR-TASTIC!!

This term we are going back in time to learn about the Vikings. We are discovering when and where the Vikings came from and why they raided Britain. We are finding out about Anglo-Saxon kings, comparing similarities and differences between them. We are also learning about aspects of the Viking lifestyle and crime and punishment in Anglo-Saxon Britain.
We will also be finding out all about Europe, developing our geographical skills by using maps to locate this continent and the countries within it. How many countries can you name that are in Europe? Can you recognise the flags that belong to different European countries and name their capital cities?
We are developing our designing and making skills by creating our own juggling ball and using the season of Autumn for inspiration in our art work. In Computing we will be developing our word processing skills.
Any work or research you have done at home related to our project work is always interesting to bring into class to share with all of the Lemurs!
Homework is given out on Fridays and needs to be handed in by the following Tuesday.
Spelling work is done in class each week and there will be a spelling test on each Friday. ‘Look, cover, write, check’ sheets are available for further practice at home if required.
